I like the sounds in these lines. One can imagine the sound of that river.
What a wonderful poem! “Crushing boulders as big as mastodons to pebbles, sand and river rocks…” What scope!

A pleasure to read this poem. It really does have a rhythm that carried this reader along in the movement. The evolution of the river from might to tranquility is powerfully expressed.
